1969 GTX conv clone, 500+hp big block, 4spd airgrabber, 6pak more! - $25-offer

That's a perfect example why some cars shouldn't be modified. If it was all stock it would be worth more than it is now. It presently has enough things wrong with it that a collector wouldn't want. The hood scoops are Dodge. the exhaust tips are dodge. The pistol grip wasn't available until 1970. I could see it easier to sell without the motor. Good luck. This is a horrible time to HAVE to sell a car.

It's not that modified. And is more of a "what if" car with mopar parts available at the time (except the 383-6 intake).

The hood just has bolt holes for the scoop and 2 cut-out sections on relatively flat portion of the hood. Used 69 flat satellite hoods aren't too expensive. The car needs to be painted anyway, worrying about some holes in a $75 69 Satellite hood is not seeing the forest from the trees. Everything else is bolt on.

A 69 383-4bbl sport satellite would not have got Plymouth tips either, just turn downs. Pistol grip is a pure bolt on. Same for the rally rims.

All of those optional stock parts could be sold in a heartbeat for original stuff with money left over.

I believe the buyer should keep the block with the car. Even if he were to clone into a 440 or Hemi. This a rare car. Of the showroom floor this was basically a 383 version of a 440 4spd GTX convertible. Or combination of RR and GTX.
