I'm kinda surprised to hear your GTO has some gear noise. Usually new stuff is without noise. Guess it's cause it has perf. gears in it.

My Goat is on warranty replacement rear end #2, that's three rears counting the one it left the factory with. It is still not without whine including the owner:)
