ok Dart guys--here it is: 70 dart with outer quarter lips rolled in . springs NOT moved.
wheels- 15x8 weld pro star with 4.5" b.s.
tires- MT et streets 28x 11.5 x 15

will these barely clear under this car ? i cant check cuz i dont have my 5x 4.5 axles yet.. 8)
 
On my 66 235/60r-15 BFG drag radials fit after I move the springs against the framerails. I have about 1/2" on each side of the tire with 8" tread, 26" tall.
 
Yeah, good luck "stuffing them in." That's your tread width right? So your section width is around 12.5 or 12.9 I think (no jegs mag handy). I don't think it's gonna work even with the rolled wheel lips. I had MT L60/14 indy profiles on before I moved my springs and mini-tubbed. They were about 11" wide and they rubbed on the right side on the spring hard enough to make a pretty deep groove. This was compliments of the previous owner. So even if you get them in, watch your spring clips, aka rebound clips, they like to bite!!!
 
Them are the same tires on my duster---they just fit, I have weld draglites with I think 3.5 back space and 8.5 wide.
 
I forgot to add that street et are measured from the side wall to side wall 11.5 tread on the track is about 8.5 to 9.0 in.
