Colorado salvage yards

I've been going to Pull and Save for quite a few years now and you have to realize that this is a volume based enterprise. Once they get 10 of a certain catagory in (import, chevy, ford, chrysler) the 10 oldest in that catagory (no matter what has or has not been taken off of them) go to the crusher. :( That's the sad part, that good old stuff gets crushed, but the good part is that they are always getting new stuff in. I have also heard that there might be "insiders" that let a select few know what's arriving and they pounce on it.
I replied to an add on craigslist about 1971 Duster parts and learned that the owner took most of the stuff off and sent the rest to the junk yard. I inquired "oh really, what junk yard" and it just happened to be Pull-n-Save. So, I went by there about everyday after work until I knew when the car would go to the yard and arrived early one morning about an hour before they opened to make sure I was the first in line. I did make it in and got the disk brakes, fenders, interior pieces, marker light, etc. While I was there, another guy had an aircompressor and impact wrench and before you could say "A-Body" had the 8 3/4 rear end out and was gone. WOW!
