You betcha! Thanks Jim, I put all new bearings in it and the pinion bearing preload on my old Richmond instruction sheet calls for 15-25 inch pounds on new bearings. Too tight? I have 25 inch pounds right now. Seems a little tight to me, but the Ford 8.8 calls for 16-29 inch pounds on new brgs.(Just did one)
You're right. I thought you were using the old bearings. It is 15-25 inch pounds for new. I'd try to get it somewhere in the middle. But it does say 15-25. So you might be good with the 25. Good luck.
