Does anyone other than Redline make a replacement dash panel gauge cluster?

I am not to crazy about the look on the black one they have.

Wow they look alot nicer than the Redline's and about the same price!

The brushed aluminum look cool too.

I know a guy who makes an insert for the stock frame. Basically, you cut out the old gauges and epoxy his in (he doesn't sell gauges or anything though). Fits like a glove. He will make any configuration you want within the confines of the frame. He charges $55-$80 (plus shipping) depending on the price of plexiglass (or whatever he uses) and what you want. Here is are pics of mine installed in my Dart and one before installation. The frame is configured so you can use the stock wiper and headlight switches. Very good quality.

Let me know if you want his contact info.

That's nice! Where did you get the lights for turn signals / high beam?

Thanks. I used these.

If the hole drilled into the dash panel is the right size, they just push in. Hook one wire to ground and the other I spliced into the appropriate factory wire that goes (or used to go) into the round plug in the back of the stock dash panel.

If I did it again, I would order the 0.125 diameter LED for the blue brights indicator. It seems a little too bright sometimes. I like the 0.312 diameter LEDs for the other stuff though.

RDJ - Your setup looks very nice! What size are your smaller gauges? What do you have hooked up to the red & amber LEDs?

RDJ,

Can you give us the contact information for the insert. That insert looks very much like what I'm attempting.

Thanks,

Dan

The red is for the oil light. I was going to tee off of the oil sender so I could run an oil pressure light along with the oil pressure gauge (sometimes a light will grab your attention faster). I didn't get around to doing it though. The amber is for the parking/warning brake light (I didn't get this working yet though lol). Everything else works like a champ though. I've had these in about 2 years with no problems. I will get around to finalizing the red and amber when my 67 Barracuda is done.

The smaller gauges are 2" (or 2 1/16"?), the speedo and tach are 3 3/8".

DartGTDan I sent you a PM with his email address, I don't want to post his email in a public forum until I get his permission. I sent him an email asking.

Here is an old thread at a different site discussing his gauge panels
