Nice setup. I've been thinking of something similar with my '69 Dart rather than running a hood scoop for awhile now.
The later Darts don't have the body plugs into the cowl area so I'd have to fabricate something. We'll see. The build is still in 'plan mode'.
Considered changing that single reservoir master cylinder?

Sorry to beat you to it, but it really sounds like the idea has been out there for a very long time. The one reason I went the way I did, was because of the used for nothing else body plugs. I wonder if you should consider running to the front, instead of altering your firewall ?
