Cool, I'm glad you found the link. I've been thinking of doing this for a long time, but I would get beat to the stock dual snorkels everytime. I also wanted to buy from an American in a small buisness. I don't do chinese.
As far as the materials, I ordered two feet of hose from Cole, but ended up using vacuum cleaner hose and ends. Works great !

This was one of the first mods I did to my car after I bought it (in 1974). Used parts were available everywhere. My car still had a 2 barrel carb then. I just cut the snorkel off of another air cleaner & grafted it onto the original air cleaner. Then I turned it so they both pointed to the rear & hooked it up with old heater duct hose. I'm glad to see this works when you have a decent carb. Mine was old & when I went to leave home in the morning the inside of the car always smelled like gas.
