any father son/daughter projects out there?

sorta kinda here.
My dad and I are restoring his '70 Super Bee, he drove it when he went to college. Now I go to the same college (then 383, 4-speed, now 426 wedge, 4 speed). He's also going to be helping me do an engine swap on my '73 Duster, from /6 to 360, since the /6 blew. And I'm getting the 360 from a friend of mine who's re-engine-ing her '73 duster with her dad after her 318 blew.

My 12 and 15 yr old daughters have been working on a few interior things and taking sewing lessons from my mother to do a new rear seat cover. My 14 yr old son loves to do anything that he can and its been a good learning experience for him. My 4 yr old son just loves playing around with my tools and hanging out in the garge when there isnt anything dangerous going on. Its been a GREAT family project, and I love hearing them say "our Barracuda" when they talk about the car.

My son has been claiming my 71 Satellite since he was about 4 years old, so it was destined to become his car someday. He will be 16 next month and the car is now his. I've gathered most of the parts needed for the resto over the last couple of years, so we've been spending time together turning wrenches on it. It's currently running a 360/727 but we plan to put a 408 together for it. It's a pretty well optioned car including the rally dash with 150 mph speedo and I got a factory tach to replace the clock. We have everything to convert it from bench/column to buckets/console, and we'll be adding an air grabber hood.

He absolutely loves the car, but told his mother that the father/son project of working on it means more to him than getting the car done. Dang near brought a tear to my eye!

yea me and my old man are spending lots of time together on our father son project. heres the thread http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=52638 please feel free to drop a line and comment. I really think that would make my old man happy. He also bought my 15 year old brother a 65 barracuda to do with him after he helps me finish my car. All the guys in the family are gunna be running MOPARS!! A father and his two sons. And best of all- There all plymouths which is cool

Me and my dad are going to work on my duster...once I get a place to work on it. But I have helped him do things to his 69 RR that he bought new. I've had scrape undercoating...lol, but any work helps and I just want him to get it back on the road. Another kinda project my dad bought last year though was a 64 4 door belvedere, I just need to convince him to drop in a fresh 440 (bought it from a guy who used to run in the 9's) and dana we have laying around lol.

My son had been driving me nuts to get a project for us to work on. Looked at a lot of Dusters & Demons but fell into a 68 Barracuda. Body is not bad as is the underside. It was missing an engine and trany. Had a 79 E58 360 I pulled out of a parts 300 I had. Plan is to rebuild engine to get around 400 HP possibly with aX-Ram set-up and duel quads.Car also is a manual trany car and I have a 4sp for it but may try to go 5 or 6 if we find one that will fit without too much modifications.
