I've been life long Mopar man and have raced small and big block Mopars ever since I started driving. Most of my years have been spent racing a small block A body car. I have won and lost many races. Losing more than I've won. LOL. Even was lucky enough to have picture in National Dragster a few times. Once for my own win and other times for 2 other with friends having wins. All in Mopars. I hope I can help any others on this site that are newbies to A body Mopars with any of my past experinces plus I hope I can learn more from all of you here in internet land.
My car I race is a 1965 Barracuda that has a 340 stroker motor and 727 transmission. It is a 3500 lbs slug with me in it but has managed to run a 10.72 at 125. mph in the 1/4. My slogan which is not new to Mopar people and has alway been ("Mopar Or No Car") and dragsters are nothing more than a engine on a stick. You can find them at any fair or circus. Sorry I guess that is corn dogs not dragsters LOL. I found this site when I was looking around on another Mopar site Moparstyle. Thought I would check it out. Liked what I saw and here I am.
