If any body can help, I have purchased a nice 66 dart gt that has a 383 with 440 heads stuffed into it. My problem is the headers, parts of them have rusted away and I need new ones. I have talked to TTI and no luck. These were custom made. This is a older hot rod conversion. The inner fenders were not cut out. One welding shop wants $1500.

i dont know of anyone making them, maybe somebody else here does, I ll bet you end up making your own, its not really that hard ,you have the old ones for a pattern, learning to run a mig welder is pretty basic you will just need to practice a little and read the instruction book... it really is that easy , I have taught guys to weld in a day on the job...if you know a good welder have him help you get started, it is going to be time consuming ....but the option is 1500$....good luck.. if you have any welding questions I would be glad to help...Ron

I agree with 68gts340, there isn't anyone making headers for the big block in an early a body. But over at bigblockdart.com they have a tech section just for exhaust issues and there might be a possibility of modifying big block headers from a b-body to fit your application. It is hard enough to find small block headers for a 66 Dart.

Welcome to the board 66DARTGTMAN. As previously stated, you'll probably have to custom fabricate your own headers, but have a look at bigblockdart.com and see what they have available there for information.

If you are able to find someone who make headers let me know I am putting a 440 in my Dart, and most likely just custom fabricate a pair, if I can't find a pair.
