Im broke and just about done with my duster so I could really use some help on thise one. I need all four ball joints for my 72 duster but its got stock 4 piston discs and the balljoints come out to like 250-300$ its crazy. Anyone know any good online prices or anything? Whats your opinion on keeping the uppers that were on the car. there is no play but they can move with pretty low resistance compared to new ones and everything else on the car is brand new. I havent cut corners this entire build but its so close to driveable it kills me. I need lowers for sure so any direction towards a good site is appreciated, but who thinks its risky to run who knows how many mile balljoints even temporarily?

Go to Advance Auto online. There parts are less expensive and if you order over $75.00 the shipping is free. You can also get parts that you cannot get in the stores.

....went to Orielly's and the uppers are $21.99 Part# k772 Moog. Lowers are $52.99 Part# k783 for the left. k781 for the right. Hope this helps. I told the guy that they were from a disc brake car and he said he was showing no difference between the disc and the drum car.

Orielly's clerk needs to check again

72 Duster with Disc.......

Upper Ball Joints K704

Lowers K7021 & K7023

Check rockauto.com

They are consistently less than any other place. Once you find all the cheapest prices, call Summit and give them the prices, and they will usually match or beat the price. You then get one shipping cost, not 2 or more as that can add up fast.

If you want good ball joint, they cost a few bucks. The cheap stuff is just that, cheap. I had one of the $12 uppers go out in about 5K miles.

I did Demon: I called them again and the guy i talked to this morning has gone to lunch but he was out to lunch this morning also. I talked to another guy and gave him the numbers you posted and he said those were correct. The 704's in moog are $62 and master pro are $31. The lowers are moog and $83 each. Sad one can't get the right info the first time. Way to be there Demon. Thanks

At Rock Auto
