Dodge Colt Find-kinda cool!

I wanted to share with you all my new find. I brought it home a couple of days ago. Really wishing I could find an A body this clean. It has some old lady dings here and there. I already pushed the one out. No rust, and has 87K on it. It is a 1978.

After I get my BBD Sport done I am thinking of insuring it. It hasn't been driven in almost 20 years. But some gas and a bit of fresh hose and it fired up. Everything works except one marker light. I drove it around some and it was fun.

I was debating on putting a real engine in it, but I don't know yet. I am too young to have been around when muscle cars regularly roamed the street, but too old to have gotten on the Ricer train (thank goodness)! For now stock will do, but perhaps some type of EFI 4-6 cylinder could be fun.

Maybe some type of modern engine that does not weigh a ton so that I have to cut the whole car up. Not that modifying it has to happen at all.

I am a fan of the early Datsun 510's and this car reminds me of them alot.

Oh, and it came with a bunch of documentation in a bag. Owners manuals and some time of numeric punch card. And a matching spare and car cover.

I'm off to bed. I just wanted to share.:-D
