I agree, you have more issue than just the carb shooter. What is the cylinder pressures for it? you dont know the timing curve. You have to know and get that set properly before you play with the carb. For a typical 4" engine with decent quench and closed chamber heads I will run 18° initial, and I make a bushing for the MSD that allows for a total of 30°. The initial is critical, but so is NOT running too much total. With the good gearing, and low first, even with a 10" 3200 that thing should snap off the line with a small cam and average port. You can dump all the fuel you want in it and it isnt going to get quicker. The acclerator pump is only designed to cover the movement of the throttle opening. The PV provides the enrichment beyond that. What PV is in it? What is your vacuum level idling in gear? there's a ton more we need to know before we begin explaining how our ideas are right and rule out everything else. Never set carb before timing. Never set timing until you know the overall health of the engine.
