This is what I ended up doing, I found a super six setup complete on ebay (intake/exhaust manifold +2 carbs tons of other crap but no kickdown) for around 150$ +shipping. I don't know about you but that was cheaper than I found anywhere else, hell the exhaust manifold alone typically starts at that. Because of everything I was doing I took it to a trusted mechanic to help me out, and we went over the options and decided to switch over to a cable pedal set up for less future stress and better reliabilty. Just my .02$
