So after a big debait about my thoughts of my 318 I have now,its a hole new ball game.I talk to a guy last night that has a good running 360 he is a old timer mopar guy. 300 bucks carb to pan but its out of a truck. So the wife says get it you fool she likes cars and power too.So now its 360 time cant aford realy it but a deal like this we cant let it go buy.So 360 with 340 j heads the 188s, 484 284 ,cam eddy intake,1/5/8 headers.Thats enough for me.Only problim is my little 7/1/4 rear will not last. Thanks to all that showed me the light.I know one could build up a good 318 but 360 sounds better.

7.25 is ok for now just get it going you can change that out later.......I have wailed on a 7.25 pretty good and have never had a problem....as long as it starts to spin LOL

65 vart this guy used to own a reacking yard for years.Moparweeden reminded me of him.If you like when I see him next week i will keep you in mind.He says he has lots of mopar stuff.

Snake, sounds like a good deal. You may want to see what kind of compression you are working with (especially with the 484 cam). It wouldn't hurt to re-gasket it too. Good luck.

O ya she will get all new gaskets, oil pump,He wont remove it from the truck untill we here it running he is this kind of guy. Thanks for the reminder GTXperience

You will need a passenger car oil pan. I recommend the mopar oil pan kit. You get a new pan, pick up,dip stick and tube.

A 318 pan wont work.

You have a great partner Snake:cheers: and congrat's on a great find
You are going to be very happy with you 360 oh yea.:-D
I had a 70 barracuda with a 7 1/4 in it behind a 318 and it hung in there for me and some fun at the 1/8 mile track:happy10:

Now your talkin Snake, you,ll be glad you,ve both made this choice!you can only build a 318 so much, then you would just end up getting a 360 in the long run!Atta boy!:cheers:You might have to take a run to Oakville for a rear?

Ok new oil pan .so i have to also change the oil pump pick up? can I use the one from my 318.Dons geting confused LOL
