Radio

Yeah, pretty stupid huh? Ive been looking for one for my 73 but Im not going to pay a crapload for a plain am/fm.

Ive seen thumbwheel AM/FM radios go for a few hundred dollars, but this guy appears to have made a typo in his buy it now price.

That one has been on before along with another that asks 595. on a buy it now...I don't think they really sell for that but your not going to get somebody to think it's really worth big money unless you ask for big money, then tell them it was only in the car for 35 years and nobody cut the original wires so that makes it "almost NOS". I think I'll hold onto mine a little while longer to see if they ever get to be worth that much. I guess I got a good deal though, I paid $200 for the car with the radio in it...

after market for me please. the same money gets so much more.

That is what I usually do but my car is too nice and stock to cut up the dash for a CD player and I don't want to do anything like a hidden system so I have been looking for a stock AM/FM that works and is under $100,000,000 to replace the stock AM. I also don't want to spend $400 to have my stock AM transformed into a "super radio".

Mine is just an am, that one is am/fm, so I guess those are more expensive and sought after- but I still struggle with the prices on some of these old parts.
And I'm a dummy for missing that.

I'll counter offer with a box of rags and some colored markers and tell him it's "almost money". I mean that's like saying it's brand new 'cause it's only been used for 6 months.

That's too funny.
Using that logic, my car is almost nos.
