i never said i wasnt going to... i was gonna check the compression to see if there was issues with that first with the slight optimistic chance that there was no issues, this project has become unbeleivably frustrating to me, please dont start up with the "i told you so's". I dont even have anyone to charge for everything because the dude was just helping me out to get it done by the end of a day

Sorry Sky but I couldn't resist. One thing I've learned after building engines for oh 35 yrs. or so is that there are no quick and dirties. Believe me I've tried in the past hopeing that I found all the issues with an engine and not going deep enough into it only to get burned in the long run. You're not the only one here that's had to start all over on an engine, believe me, as a matter a fact as soon as the misses gets home I'm heading to a friends house to check on an engine that had major problems during the cam run in.
