What type of studs do I need?

When doing my front end rebuild I'm going to install new wheels studs so they are long enough for my shank lug nuts (it has Draglites).

I know they are 1/2x20...but what diameter base do I need for them to properly press in? I know they make different base diameters, but this isn't the kind of thing found in my factory service manuals.

Give Mancini Racing a call (or go to www.manciniracing.com and check their Web catalog) and ask them for a set of 3" front wheel studs for your car. As for installation, no need for a press. I use a large hammer and an old pin from a Ford I-beam and drive them into the front rotor with the rotor off the car.
