My gas tank has a slow drip. is there anything i should look for besides holes? should i replace the tank itself or are there parts that tend to leak? if i need to replace the tank what else should i replace with it??? thanks.

Parts stors have patch kits for gas tanks. If the leak is not to bad that should work just fine.

Know where the leak is coming from? Could be from the filler tube gasket, sender gasket, pin hole....

Every tank that I have had leak has been at a seam. But I would check the fuel lines at the sending unit also.

If you find where its seeping out, a good temporaty fix is to get a bar of Fels Naptha soap and rub it into the spot. I've had it seal a leak for over a year and a half before it needed another application. easy and cheap.
