Back on the Duster...aka what i did on my summer vacation

You're doing a great job! Been there, done that, so I know how much work it takes. One thing I would suggest (if you hadn't already planned it, is once you have the main part of the cage tacked together, to cut holes in the floor and drop the cage through, so you can more easily weld those top welds all the way around.

Thanks Dave, I was told awhile back about cutting the holes and kinda forgot about it, thanks for the reminder. I can cut the holes for the main hoop, for the the front part, I was going to break the tack weld at the main hoop, then lay the front part down to weld the top of the front bar. Then tack back to the main hoop and drop the main hoop thru the floor to weld on top of it.


If that all makes sense?......Also did you weld the holes back up, or just weld the plates in over them?
