Rare Cars that you didn't buy

Okay, in high school in 1979 I got a ride in a '68 Hemi Roadrunner.......it was $3500 and mint. Then in 1989, I passed an absolutely mint red AAR Cuda with a 4-speed for $5500.....the guy was freaking out because he had nowhere to store it. Passed up a mint "grandpa" 1971 442 Cutlass for $1500......it was almost showroom condition. Passed up another totally mint "grandpa" 1965 Impala SS with a 283 and a factory 4-speed for (I think) $900......that nice creamy yellow w/black interior, buckets, console. I also remember seeing a '69 4-speed Judge on one of those cheapo car lots for $1500......I still remember checking out that "Ram Air" pull knob under the dash......WOW!!!

But the one car I DID buy was a 1965 Cutlass 442 convertible with some front end damage for $750 in 1990. I changed out the front clip and sold it for $1750 the following week, thinking I was bad-***. Dohhhhhhhh!!!

But the one that sticks out in my mind is a '70 Charger (no drivetrain) for $3500 in 1990.......and it had "HEMI" emblems on the doors....
