Imported gas tanks

I ordered a knew gas tank today from rock auto parts. I called vans automotive and politely asked where they came from and was told they had them made over seas.I said no thank you and he hung up on me.I am more than happy to by the one made by my canadian brothers and sisters for 15$ more.I thought it is in our best interest that every one be aware and consider this when you buy parts especially now.
