Rebuild or alterkation?
Tincup.......I'm connected....Local fabrication shop that builds large stuff like entrance gates and industial sized stuff. Black is cheap any other color is more, he just piggy backs the small stuff on larger orders when he fires up the oven. His ovens are large enough to do whole truck frames and such.
I believe I paid $325.00 for the AlterK pieces,trans mount,rear end,backing plates,and door hinges.Alot of mud truck guys utilize his services.
I also had the intake,timing cover, t-stat and cleared my valve covers by a fella in Fargo ND while working out of town.
I spoke with cudachick about getting a custom color to match the K to the car and she did send me some color samples (thank you Leanne) but I never followed up w/her about it (sorry) It was one stop shopping and no shipping for me. But I have seen some great work of hers. She tends to care about her work.
