Well, it is with sad regret that I let people know that I have a new car in the stable. Sadly, my Mom has recently passed away, having cancer win a long battle.

With that, I have inherited her 65. I helped her find and purchase this car, so it does mean a lot that I can now keep the car in good hands.

It's got a fresh 318 and rebuilt tranny, so I'm hoping it has many a miles to come.

Below is a pic:

Sorry to here about your Mom, she must of been a great Lady owning a cool early A convert and supporting you in the hobby.

Keep her memory alive, and look after her car.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My mom was very insturmental in me being in this hobby. When her time comes I will be a mess. Sorry about your loss. I geuss my wheel stud issue has been put in perspective.

Beautiful car but not the way we ever want to aquire one. My condolances for your mom I have been there and I am truely sad for your loss.

Yeah, sorry to hear about your mom.

The nice thing about owning that car is a little bit of your mom will always be with you. Remember and cherish the good times she had with that car.

Who needs a St. Christopher medal? You got Mom lookin' after you! Bless you and your ride, God bless your Mom!

Enjoy the memories. She's a beauty. I'm sure your Mom was too.

Moms can be very special in so many ways. I got my intro into Mopars by my mom in a 66 Charger with a 383. I remember her lighting up the tires coming out of our subdivision when I was 7 years old, me grinning ear to ear and she having a serious look (hiding a smile) saying "Whoops, I guess I need some better tires" My first car she helped me to get was my granddad's 64 valiant 4 door.
Every time I drive my 65 valiant convertible, I think about my granddad, and every time I light up my tires I think of my mom!

my advice: remember your mom often!

Sorry for you loss! I guess that you can carry on the spirit she had in the car. A beautiful car!
