I've been introduced to the Mopar world and I love it! I've been a GM guy my whole life, even though I've always loved Mopars. Up until recently, they were just too far outta my league. My buddy bought a 70 challenger last year, and we went to the Mopar Nats and I was hooked. While I do have a 72 Chevelle, 70 Camaro, 88 GTA and a 78 TA, I just aquired a 71 Demon, which is exactly what I was looking for.

It's gonna need a ton of work, but I will be saving it. It is a 1 owner unmolested car. Naturally, not all goes smooth with a new purchase. There is some title work yet to be done, and it will have to wait in line behind some other projects, so I'll be slowly aquiring knowledge and parts for it's resurrection. It's a plain jane 318 auto that does still run. Rust is the biggest issue. Trunk and floors are bad and the roof is littered with holes from the vinyl top. Since the frame is good, I at least have a good platform to build on. I'm realy excited to learn something new, since I know nothing about Mopars otther than how to appreciate them. Should be a fun project. Here are a few pics:

welcomee. which part of pittsbugh you from im from washington...about 25 minutes south.

Welcome!

You should find most of the members on here are very nice and will help in any way they can...

I have relatives all over the Pittsburgh area, from McKees Rocks, to South Side, to Castle Shannon, all the way to Eighty Four. Good luck with your MoPar. You will find it interesting and challenging to work on MoPars, but most HP parts are surely bullet-proof. Certainly never boring. They were made with very solid and forward-looking engineering.

kinda coolto hear all you guys from the pittsburgh area. i'm in the north hills but grew up in the south hills.

Good to see you came to the good side, especially with a Demon, I am not from Pittsburgh but I try to get there once a year for a Steelers game. Welcome to FABO.

Welcome to FABO!! Could you send me some chipped chopped ham? LOL. I am originally from Elwood/Newcastle area. I have been out here in the Land of Entrapment going on 15 yrs. I had to go where the work took me. I sure do miss the fall colors of PA. I am planning on making it to the National trails 30th next year. Hope to see you there. Hopefully your Demon will be there too.

Didn't Isaly's invent the slicer that actually sliced the ham paper thin? Now, I want one!
