Several years ago the folks that lived on a gravel road would pour their used oil on the dirt road in front of the house so as to cut down on the dust from people flyin by in their cars. Also my grandad and other farmers would mix powdered sulfur with the used motor oil and pour it on their sows so as to kill the lice and other parasites. I've also used it for the chain saw chains also.
