Now this is special: I like how all of the text overlaps :( Oh oh and how the links are screwed up because the banners cover them! WAIT where did I put my 3-D glasses.

The guys in QA should be fired....oh wait they laid them off months ago !!

I don't think its bad. I do like the pictures of the items in my wish list.

Woah.... I always thought the old site sucked...... :) Haven't messed around much with the new version, but it looks a little better, in my opinion... Must be because I'm young :p

Play1, how'd you do that?!?!

Rumble,

You can use a free screenshot program like "Screen Hunter Free". Either that or use the print screen option that comes with MS Office. Here the link to screen hunter: http://www.wisdom-soft.com/downloads/index.htm

Note the "just download" button on the right. Be sure to uncheck "do you want to install the wisdomsoft toolbar" when installing. Also, be sure to in the "To" Options you set it to capture in .jpg and to someplace easy to find like your desktop or make a folder on your desktop for screen capture files. Happy screen capturing!

I usually just hit 'print screen' on the keyboard, then open paint and paste it.

The only problem with that is that it is a .bmp image when opened in paint. This site I believe only allows a 39.1K .bmp (which is really small) vs. 122.1K for .jpg :)

True, but sometimes you can do a 'save as' in paint with the option of saving it as a jpeg (depends on the format you copied). if you can't save it as a jpeg then the .bmp is definitely way too big to upload here.

What the hell did they do?
I can't find much and I can not compare JACK!!!!!!!!
It looks stupid and gay bob blue!

OH MY LORD! What next!

Damn Rob I like you new avator bud!

I hate that they have to muck up something good but they did!

I was never a big fan of thier site to begin with.
Now that you've said that it's gotten worse thats all the more reason to go to Jegs.

it doesn't look too bad to me. I've never made a purchase from Jegs because I could never find what I was looking for on their site.

Talk about taking a nice compact site and dropping a nuclear F'up bomb on it.

more like the jegs site and I HATE THE JEGS SITE!

I agree, I thought maybe I was the only one that didn't like the new layout. The old one was much easier and quicker to use:angry7:

I got a reply from Summit that doesn't look like a canned response.

I bitched to Summit and here's what I got back.

We are sorry your experience on the new web site was not what you expected.

We have made many improvements to the new web site. We have tried to lay out our part information in a more cohesive manner and made it easier for your to find bargains and save money at Summit Racing. The Search functionality is exactly the same, but the filters are on the left, not the top. We have added the ability to estimate the final cost of you order without going all the way through Checkout, and the Checkout process itself has less steps in it.

We have tried very hard to update the site and continue to provide a great site for our customers. We are listening to feedback about the site and will consider it when making future changes.

The "Classic" site is still available for a short period of time at http://classicwww.summitracing.com/

We appreciate your taking time to let us know how we are doing. We value your comments; they help us improve our products and service to insure you get the parts you want, when you want them. If you ever have any other suggestions or comments about Summit, please drop us a line-we read every letter and e-mail we get!

Thank you,
Summit Racing Equipment
