Rear Disc Brake Kit From Summit
You'll love them! i installed mine about 2 weeks ago, and they went on easily. Near perfect fit. A few tips:
1. Don't tighten the 4 bolts that hold the brackets down until you get the 2 bolts that hold the caliper on started. They tend to tighten up and move the caliper bolt holes together to where they won't align.
2. Be sure to shim the caliper so it is centered over the disk. That is what the round washers (thick and thin) are for. I got some rubbing on mine on the first try, and had to disasssemble and re-shim them.
3. Bracket would not lay flat, I had to whack it with a hammer. No problem, just cover it with a rag before wailing on it!
I lost about 10 lbs per side over the 11"x2.5" drums I had on there. Took about 2 hours on the drivers side (first one), and about an hour on the second side. Took another 30 minute to bleed the brakes. I also cut and re-did the hard brake line.
Pic below is lookinging through the 17" torqlites.
