67 Barracuda Windshield

I Bought My 67 Fb Without A Windshield. I Bought A New Windshield From A Auto Glass Dealer. I Bought A Gasket From Year One. They Said That I Could Not Get A 67 Gasket But A 68 Would Work If I Did Not Use Trim. I Am Going To Have A Glass Co Put It In. Do I Have Everything I Need To Install It? If Not What Else Would I Need?
I Don't Want Them To Drive 30 Miles And Find Out That I Need Something Else. Thanks Stan

OK a professional glass installer should have the butyl sealant and such but I dont know if you might buy it for less than his price.
If you do use the 68 gasket but dont install the clips for the stainless reveal mouldings you wont have any. The clips can't be installed after the gasket is in place.
The 67 gasket uses a chrome looking lock cord and little stainless corner pieces. Those cant be added to the 68 gasket.
If I didnt have the 68 up stainless for it I certainly would be ordering and installing the new clips now. That reveal moulding can come from any a body from 68 to 76.
Just to be on the safe side, measure the A-pillar heigth of the new glass, compare the gasket to the glass, and the car. 4 door pieces are about 2 inches taller than 2 door. Easy enough to trim those 2 pieces of moulding if needed. Main thing is make sure vendors sold you the correct parts before the installer arrives. I hope alll this helps.
