67 Barracuda Windshield

Assuming there is no glass or gasket on the car now...
There are 2 little ears stamped out of the cowl . Those go into slots on the bottom of any gasket. While we shouldn't bend theose ears back down we do need to close the holes in the cowl they created. 2 pieces of any thin sheetmetal ( 1'X2" ) bent like a L will increase the thickness of the ear, which is not a problem, and cover those holes. Two 1/8" pop rivets each and done. The butyl sealant will seal the crack and pop rivets.
All we did here was provide a base for the sealnat to bond to like the rest of the fence. Prevents tomarrows possible leaks now.
