When you installed everything, did you purge out all the air? YES Run it up to temp with the cap off, wait for the steam(t-stat has opened)then top off as necessary and reinstall cap. DID IT check again. DID IT All the pound rating will do is raise the boiling point 3-5* per pound. I KNOW
