Man I hate spiders. I do landscaping for a living and I cant tell you how may Black Widows I run across in a weeks time fooling around with irrigation valve boxes. I never stick my fingers in there until I give it a good look!

Now I got spiders crawling on me!

I work in construction and always look underneath something before I pick it up... kick it or flip it to make sure. Oh.... don't forget about the fire ants either.

i've seen one of those once, I always thought they were bigger than they actually are. Thankfully I was in Florida when I saw it, haven't seen any here even thought there are supposedly around here. Other spiders I saw in Flordia were a brown recluse and there were maybe wolf spiders in the house that I lived in. I hate the things, especailly big ones. When I walked into the house I was gonna live in for the summer the first thing i saw was one of those spiders the size of my hand!

we got a couple of them with the broom over the summer, and my roommate got in the shower one time and there was one on the inside of the shower curtain!

yea, I was scared to shower for the next 2 months...

yea! i remember those too! I remember seeing a couple that were probably 2.2 inches in diameter. They had incredible webs. I saw one that was built on the corner post of a lean too. it went from the ground up 6 feet, and out about another 6 feet to each side, and connected to make a triangle from each end.

We had some smaller spiders on the front of the porch that would get "toasted" with some cologne and a lighter when we were out grilling.

that was a fun summer...

aaaaaand i just googled golden orb weaver and got creeped out

1 is cool, 2 are interesting, more than three....run for the hills!

Just curious, are you planning on insect bombing the car?

I work at o'reilly a/p in ok. Our little 80lb delivery driver went into the bathroom and ran out screaming holy hell 2 min later.
Seems when she went to wipe, there was a 5in tarantula on the roll!

I see those up here in southern B.C all the time. but never one that big...

Widows aren't near as bad as recluses. I would much rather play with a widow. Jumping spiders are cool too. They are fun to tease, when they jump onto your finger nail for a warning. It kind of scares the hell out of you. I like spiders. Awesome little creatures. If you want to look up a cool spider, look up the Sydney Funnel Web Spider. Most venomos spider in the world. And they are aggressive.

They're not as bad as most people think. I have been biten over 20 times by all types of spiders. If you have never been biten the chances of you being bite is slim. The more times you are bitten the more times you will be bitten. They leave a scent in your blood stream that atracks more spiders. The last one that got me though was the worst one of all a very large female brown recluse. I had to have have the skin lanced and my wife had to change the packing in the hole twice a day. It has been a year and I still have a scar a little smaller than a dime about a 1/8 inch deep. But still its only a spider not a creepy nasty scaley crawling snake.

Duck buster
I have a Native herb remedy to take care of the wounds of a spider. I will knock it down and you wont even know its there in 24 hours or less. I have used it countless time on folks that were getting ready to have the bite surgery removed.
PM me for details,
Frank

HATE SPIDERS...

My older brother... raises female black widows in mason jars.... ya he is weird... anyways... he just likes to see how big they can get.. he feeds them insects and such.... I think the largest one he had looked like a minature triantula... its back on its body was at leat 1" round not to mention the legs and stuff..... nasty

I think this BW ate all the other spiders in the engine bay. There aren't any more in there...........at least that I have found yet.
