Plymouth duster on ebay

I was just being sarcastic because a lot of guys say they'd buy "if only it were closer" or "if only it were $1,000.00 cheaper", yada, yada.
He said he'd pay $5,500.00 for it so he could buy it and get it shipped for that.

I'm willing to bet it isn't as nice as it looks.
Personally I wouldn't pay the current $4,500.00 price for it. But that is me. I've never paid $4,500.00 for any of my cars, but then again not very many cars I have owned were running/driving vehicles with glossy paint.

It doesn't matter what anyone on these forums says it's worth.
The only thing that matters is what someone who is interested, has the money, and makes for an offer (or bids in eBays case).
If you're a potential buyer it may help be a guide towards value, but I notice people seem to guess on the pretty high side these past few years. It's easy to look at a few pictures and say that car is worth $6,000.00, but in reality there are a ton of factors to consider. If it turns out to be a bondo bucket or whatever they (we) are not the ones out the money.
My rule of thumb is things are always worth less then they appear to be worth. This means you never pay too much for anything, and you never end up having way more into something than it is "worth". Granted I miss out on a deal or two, but heh, that is the way it is in this hobby without any money.

On the other hand if your buying the car I'm curious to see it in more detail afterwards and I hope you get it cheap (whatever cheap is to you).
