It doesn't seem that anyone from this site has run the Gear Vendor unit. I like everything that I have heard about and will be installing it soon. Any comments are appreciated.
a friend owns a trans shop in az. used to swear by the gv unit, now he swears at them. last 2 customers he put them in for have grenaded the units. one was in a diesel excursion and the other a low h.p. street car. he told me that he will not build me a trans and put one behind it. he has been building fords 4r70w or the aode for alot of people. i am pretty sure jw makes an ultra bell for it. one of the premier builders for this trans is a guy out of canada, http://www.lentechautomatics.com/aodproducts.html there is a few people in the Fairlane Club of America that speak very highly of him. not to wild about the idea of putting a ford trans in my mopar, but have heard horror stories about the tko stuff. the passon hemi od seems like a good idea, just not to sure about a 3 speed manual with an od for 4th. :read2:
