Opinions on FirmFeel???

I'm not sure he was crapping on you after reading his post again and yours. Good advice either way. I might have a difficult time finding a local guy and would have to default to someone else's experiences with the "local guy." Guess you are lucky to have a really good one available to you.

I looked and it I did not see a rebuild kit for the power steering gear box, but there is one for the manual box.

Hope there are no hard feelings. It's just information and we all choose ourselves what to do with it.

STAGE III final answer  Boxing up a spare gear box
tomorrow.

Right On! My comments were NOT aimed at anyone personally, and were made only to illustrate that you'll find very few places (or none) setup to, and/or doing this kind of work. If that were true then you could go to your average local mechanic or machine shop and walk out with one of these boxes done "on the cheap", and the folks at Firm Feel wouldn't be very nearly alone in doing it.

I applaud the man from B C for finding someone local to his local area to do it, for you see I too, have a local guy to do this work, his name just happens to be Dick Ross.
