aggressive stance

No it does not sound dumb. If your handling was poor before, this or that could improve it some. But:
1) There is the subjective vs the objective to consider; the later being timed tests before and after;
2) Alignment issues can be ticky - a little more caster or a little less, the affect on toe in, etc etc, were likely affected by what you did and would be hard to quantify;
3) Your combo - it might have been improved even though any particular thing might be a bad move, since all the parts need to work together;
4) You did not mention whether you altered anything else, even a subtle thing like bushings or a re-alignment btwn the B4 and Aft;
5) How comprehensive is your testing (even w/o numbers) - is is better in all conditions now or just some (like better for low speed but not hywy, vis-versa).

?

PS: You also did not mention the overall diameter change in your tire sizes from B4 to Aft.
