Radiator selection help.

The stock radiator support is cut for a 19 inch radiator, in 1964. :(

In 1965 the V8 cars had the option of a 22 inch wide radiator.
{And maybe the 6 cyl with a/c, and or trailer towing etc.}

If you want to keep the car original looking you can get the core changed to a 3 core, or 4 core if you want.

US Radiator sent me a quote, before I found out I was ok with my
stock 273 radiator, for the 318.

My 318, I am using Casting # 302 heads, stock 273 exhaust manifolds,
with dual exhaust.
a Mopar cam, .430/.450 lift,
an old Edelbrock LD4B intake, with a # 1406 Edelbrock electric choke carb.
Electronic ignition, 180 f High flow t'stat.

The only time it has run a little warm was on a 90f day, in a traffic jam.

The triple flow is basically a 4row Optima core with baffles or walls soldered inside of the tanks which routes the water 3 times before it exits. Water goes in on the driver side, flows downward, goes up in the middle section, goes down, finally reaching the lower hose and exiting next. By staying inside the radiator longer, the water dissipates more heat. You gain approximately 15% more temperature drop.
