Florida Paint Regulations !!

:protest: More govermen't regulation, UGGGHHH. I'm about done with it. Just learned that a local code enforcement officer cited someone for "repairing a car in a residential area" ; The guy was changing his sisters front brake pads in his driveway! :wack:

Eric, Just you wait!! If those pinheads get their way we wont be able to register a car that we worked on....It'll be deemed an "unsafe" vehicle if you are not certified to work on it. After all we want to keep the public safe ( from themselves ) :angry7:

What a crock of crap!
How many times have anyone or anyone you know painted their car in the garage? I'm guessing VERY few and will/would have VERY little effect on the environment. It's like the emissions control testing that they used to do in palm beach county. If a car is running so poorly that it can't pass emissions testing, it wont be on the road for very long anyway, it'll just stop running. They eventually did away with the testing because there was no positive/negative effect on the environment ( govt tests proved it )

Send all of the people that think it's their mission in life to protect the earth to CHINA and help THEM!. We'll continue to do our part by not letting oil, anti-freeze, or trans fluid into the ground. If I couldn't have painted my car myself....it'd still be sitting in the garage under a tarp. stupid people suck!
