The blue 68 was owned by FuryStump. He drove a little over an hour to meet up with us.

OK, ok ok ok, it's an E-body.
But I own one and it's far far from this. Mine being a '73 4spd small block and butt ugly, this one practicaly makes me want to run into the bathroom and punch the clown around.

OK, not really, but this was reall really nice.

Thank you Adam, Looks like a great time and allot of very nice cars.
The day gets bigger as pictures are coming in.

I think I missed that car Adam. Fuzzy stump was funny and very cool. His girlfreind/wife (???) was cool peoples. I met alot of people and couldn't possibly remember names, but, next time,....name tags. LOL Ha ha ha.

I don't think I'll soon forget Mike who road down from Mass and Cory. He's funny. And LOL and hard, I'm talking away and didn't put two and two togther until man rolled out machine from the traler. I'm like OMG! Your the man, Holy Gezzz, LOL!

We could chew the fat all night.

I got a good shot of , umm, forive me if I'm wrong on the screen name...
Toms340 and his wife (Go on, claim your prize - LOL) and a few of his car below.

I spent alot of time running around talking with other car owners around the lot.

300 cars, LOL, no way, I stop counting around 600, seriously, then I went around to the far side. You had the Viper group show up and there was about 40 of them and they were just one little lane.

300, Ha ha ha ha ha.

It looks like my prayers was answered 8)

That was much better than what I anticipated. Sorry I missed you guys. I invited my girlfriend and her two young kids to come. By the time we got there, got everyone fed, and got out to the cars it was after 7. But, the cars left were great. Fuzzy, I stood by your car for a few minutes hoiping you'd return...lol. To no avail. That black '70 Cuda is a 383 car and very nicely done. There was also another red 70, not as nice, but all dressed as a 71 near it. A couple people even et the kids (ages 8 and 11) sit in thier rides. VERY nice group of people and a very high level of car there. I think the majority of A body guys left while I was eating tho... Was it a FABO guy with the convertible pro street Hemi Dart?

Oh yeah, and it's 1:10 minutes averaging 80mph from Vernon...lol.

Yes it was and he's sitting in the chair next to it. Great fella.
Moper, I left around, a 1/4 to 8 I think it was. Hey Adam, what time I said goodbye?
I think it was about a 1/2 hour - 45 minutes before sun set.

When that red and grey Viper pulled out with another 5-6 behind it... We had just started looking at the cars about 10 minutes earlier. I do apologize. I screwed up twice... First, I didnt realize we should have been that at 4... Second, I should have left the family home if I wanted to meet a bunch of you. They did have a great time tho. None of them have ever see old cars other than driving along once in a while as thier father/her X is... less than maechanical... The group of Henry Js right next to the building were great people. They ssaw the kids' excitement and invited them to sit in them and stuff. As I said, if anyone has the chance, that is a VERY nice cruise to make. I almost had my '65 there... if there were'nt 45 people in line at DMV by 8:02 am :( I would have...

My favorite question about that Hemi Dart from the 11 year old... "Are those tennis balls in there?" Never miond the blower, the headers, the tires... he was looking at the tennis balls...lol.

Rob, I think you left about 7pm ? I left not to long after. Michelle and the kids were beet. I got home and hit the coach and was ready for a nap. I told Michelle next year to bring the van so if her and the kids get tired I dont have to go. I felt bad leaving before others.

Dave, Sorry I missed you ! The Hemi Dart was owned by Tony, he goes by HemiGTS.

lol Adam, I have no kids of my own so I have to learn these by making the mistakes I guess...lol. You're supposed to knwo these already. When we arrived there were a lot more Abodies in that corner. When we came out of the restaurant, Fuzzy's, and the "tellow contingent" was there with a couple other cars. Next time I'll come alone and in my car...

I knew, I just couldnt get her to stay home, LOL She didnt want to go at first until George and Lisa showed. She had a great time with Lisa so I had to bring her and the kids along.

Lisa and the kids had a great time too, Adam. She liked hanging with Michelle, and wasn't going to go with me and the kids until she found out your wife would be there. Now she's glad she went along and got to meet her.

Rob, we left a few minutes after you did so I would say you bounced about 7PM or so.

Tom, oyur Duster is freakin awesome dude! Nice to finally meet you and the MRS as well.

Buddy is one cool dog. I had to feed him a hotdog so he'd let me eat! LOL

George

It was great night for the show. I would say about 300 Cars by the end of the night ?

Anyone snap a picture of the red 70 340 Dart ?

i got some video of it adam when i get the disc finalized ill post it up

Looks like you guys had a great time! The highlight of the night for me was having a bowl of ice cream....

Sorry I didn't drive up, but my left leg is soooo scrrewed up right now I didn't want to risk being a passenger, never mind driving a 4 sp. up to Ct. without the pain. I ate 2 Vicadins and just finished sleeping 11 hours, which felt real good. Now I sit here pissed off because the long Island Mopar Club is having a cruise RIGHT NOW and there's no way I can attend, let alone drive. I'm seeing a second speacialist tomorrow afternoon. I can't believe I just have to wait for it to "go away on it's own...." as was diagnosised by Dr.Qwack #1, along with a diet of Vicadin and Flexerol.

What's with my luck and this car? I spent way too many years fighting it together only to be sidelined with bad health and weather..... :angry7:

Oh thanks George. I wasn't sure when i left. I got confused on the way home and took the long route. Punched in at work late....10:41 pm. And I left before 7 huh? Hummmmm, where did the 684 go?

I knew I had to scoot and make haste, but that was nutty. No trouble for being late on a overtime shift though. Truly te worst part of the travle was the couple fighting in there car @ 55 mph.....in the left lane!
WTF!!!!!!!!! Move over and get a room!!!!!

John, lookin to do a night at Bald Hill with a gathering of the forum guys. Whom ever is on the Island really and mostly since it's ethier a Tues. or Thurs. night meet.

Off of Island memebers would have a bear of a time getting through New York for the most part on a weekend never mind mid-week.
I'll have to check about for whats happening on the weekend around here.

:D

We missed ya John. I was looking forward to seeing yer ride, and shaking your hand. Hopefully next time we'll get together.

Well its confirmed by the pic... the guy in the gray Dart is going bald...lol Thanks to the guy who took the shot.. Funny to seem my car in a foto. I also heard the kid asking about the tennis balls in the carb, ahhh youth its waisted on the young. Thanks again Adam nice work Cheers

Kieth, Dont worry about the bald thing. I started loosing my hair in my mid 20s. I use to have hair down to my waste. I blame it on Michelle and the kids, LOL

Glad everyone had a good time.

This Dart? This one? I liked it. Alot of no non sense to it.

Moper IMO, you did the right thing by taking the kids along. No doubt about it. I'm 100% with it. Who knows, there could be a new car nut born that day....who knows!?!?!?!

Mike & Corry ..........pic's please!

Rumble, I am doing my best to "do waht's right" by her kids. This is all untested ground for me. I thought they might like to get out. I think my only issue was the distance. The 8yr old was fidgity and was over tired. Not a good recipie for a 3 hour round trip without seeing the cars...lol. But all 3 enjoyed themselves and we'll be going to more local cruises over the rest of the summer.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

You are right on rumblefish. My mom took me to my first car show at the Philidelphia Civic Center back in 75 or 76. At that time the customs really jumped out at me. Lots of chrome, fur and mirrors. :-D Ahhh the 70's.

My son Robert & I liked that primered Dart at the show. He and I were checking it out and describing how we would finish it with a vinyl top, wheels etc. I liked the rollcage. Nicely done whomever installed it.

George

Hi all, had a great time Saturday night and glad we made it down to Marcus. I figured to at least go back quickly to pgg. 6 and see whats been posted B4 writing... Sorry could not get to computer any sooner than tonight, spent my Sunday dropping 2 large trees on my property, skin em', slice em' up and stack em' high for the winter of '09 and '10. Still need at least 2 more cord!
That '69 Plymouth Sport Fury in the pics is my dads. It is a 46K original miles..Original 383 engine, 3 spd tqflite tranny and 3.23:1 gears. car has been in the family since brand new, my grandfather purchased in Queens NY I believe Feb 69?? I was in that car the day we drove it home. My brother re-painted @ 10 years ago, new front seat covers and carpet. I have like NO idea why he puts a FS sign on the car at cruise-ins!!! LOL..I guess its an old man thing. Me & Todd want him to lose the rallyes and put back the Magnum 500's and some 265/60's in the rear. :) hell yea.
I never did get to meet the owner of the awesome rallye red '70 340 Dart (daves340) plate. If anyone had a chance to see that nasty car parked out back...whew. beautiful resto.
George, nice meeting you man! Another smokin' machine. Your Dart looks great in its original color. One of my favorite pre-70 colors along with Sandpebble Beige. I didnt get a chance to really talk cars with too many from FABO, I met so many friends Sat. night including the guy who built my stroker motor for the Duster. I forget so many names from saturday already-but I remember PLACES like Monson Mass :) :) dont ask me why. Holding true to my biker roots, I was the last one to leave the party.. They have a no-burnout rule at Marcus, F***-em all and their rules. The BFG's got lit.

Yea Adam Mopar Joe and his '72 Duster is on FABO also.. He arrived late and had to park out back. Joes busy writing articles for the Ct. Cruise news, he pops in from time to time on FABO. He's made out great finding parts on here.
