Hays B&B piece of s---

I recently finished doing an automatic to four speed conversion in my '73 Dart Sport 340.
I went with the Hays B&B street/strip set up on a brand new Ram billet steel flywheel.
One medium hard launch (not a side step) after less than 30 miles is all it took for something to break on the pressure plate. It hot spotted the flywheel pretty bad.
When the pressure plate was still bolted in the car, one of the fingers was bad loose. I took a bunch of pictures of the pressure plate, showing the problem, and sent them to Hays' tech department. They still haven't responded.
Naturally, the clutch was out of warranty. Fortunately, Summit took pity on me and gave me a great price on a replacement Hays. But, I am really leery of it. After all, it says Hecho en Mexico on the pressure plate housing.
Now I wish I had gone with the Centerforce.
