My body man is almost ready for my car(71 Demon), so I am trying to make sure that I have everything in order before it goes to the body shop. I am cloneing a slant six auto on the column into a 340 4 speed. I have the 4 speed floor hump, the Z-bar pivot brace that goes on the outside of the left inner fender, and the right side exhaust mount that bolts to the floor above the rear end. Are there any other differences between a /6 auto body and a 340 4 speed body that you guys can think of pertaining to the body itself that I need to attend to before the car is painted? Thanks Warren

The only real difference is in it being a 4spd manual or automatic trans. The body itself is the same no matter the drivetrain.

Factory 340 K member included a factory sway bar as standard equipment.

For a 1971 340 Demon, that car included a 340 Rallye dash, but that's not something you have to really worry about.

What color for your car's exterior? Luv those 340 Demons!

I've got the K-frame, sway bar, lower control arms for a sway bar, and rally dash. But what I am worried about is any modifications that need to be done to the body before it is painted. I am still trying to make my final decission on the body color. I have it narrowed down to black, hemi orange, or green go. Thanks for the help.
