I'll be there with the wife & kids and the Dart. We're driving home same afternoon, though.
Looking forward to it.

Is this the show that was in Vernon last year? I remember driving to one well east of Hartford..nice turnout of cars.

Thats the one, Tom.
You commin??

George

Yea that show was NICE. Not that bad of a ride either until 84 in Newington. I take all secondary roads from my place right to Farmington. If we have descent weather I'll be there with the Plymouth

Cool! Lookin forward to seeing you guys again.
Lisa and the kids will be with me too. We had a lot of fun last year with the mini golf, and those water bumper boat things and the go-Carts so they'll be game for it again.
I hear the weather (as of right now anyway) looks OK, but it's still a week out.

George

Damn Hurricanes. Is there a rain/hurricane date just incase this thing hits??
No Tom, it's a rain or shine show. Cloudy as hell here in Trumbull but no rain & the roads are dry. Weather.com says like a 20% chance of rain for the day. As of now, (8:30am) I'm planning on going, but if it starts to rain I'm out.
Gotta go clean the car. Hopefully we'll see ya's up there.
Anyone else going??

George

Second time for me at this car show ever. Long haul, but I like the location. Weather permitting and so long as I own a driveable MoPar I'll probably always attempt to make this one.

So how was the show??...was coming down yesterday but i don't like trailering in the rain..

show was nice. I think the early weather kept some folks away, I think last years event may have had a bigger draw, but by how much Im not exactly sure. Got to meet some FABO members there too (Walt and George R) was looking for HarryHood but didnt see him or his MoPar today.

Show was awesome. Sunny and hot too.
My favorite rides were a black 33 Plymouth with a 426 Hemi, 4 speed, straight axle and suicide doors with a rumble seat, real magnesium wheels in front with steelies in back, fat and skinny tires.
Next was a 66 Belvedere with a 440, 4 speed, gray primer, mags in front only, Super Stock hood scoop, tow tabs and it sat real high in front.
Then there was this yellow 70 Duster in the A body section. The dude was ugly but he was with a hot lookin chick! :D I think he won first place in his class, too.
Congratulations Tom! The car looks fantastic as always! Good seeing you again.
Only a couple more shows on schedule for me; Southbury Training School's yearly show/swap, and the Mopars In The Valley at Lebannon Valley Dragway.

George

It was great meeting up with you Tom.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to chat with you George.

On another note, thought I'd share my sphincter moment. I noticed after seeing the video, I didn't have the front tires straight when I started, which is why, I think, the rear walked out to begin with, then the loose nut behind the wheel just made it worse.

I was checking out your car, Walt. I didn't realize that I knew the car from somewhere, I just knew it was cool! LOL
