Big carb options.

And yes, a high stall will help tons. The mechanical secondary carb works very well with an auto trans and a high stall.

Other factors that help are a light car & steep gears.

The bog issues come from just the reverse, heavy car, low gears and getting into the secondaries before the engine can handle it all.

I should be O.K then. Target weight is 3000 (fibreglass hood, fenders, valance, manual steering, aluminum intake, headers, ditch the rear window regulators, aluminum water pump setup or electric, and losing the brake booster puts it at about 211 lb's less than stock) with driver and rear gears are 3:91 to 4:10 plus a 3000 to 3500 stall.

AnotherA,I'll check out those links.Thanks.
