Hey there everybody! My name is Derek and I am new to the site. Love it already. It's nice to have a spot to come just for us A-body guys.
I am the proud owner of a beat up 1976 Dodge Dart Sport. I love it, just don't ask my wife. Its got all the symptoms of an unloved 1970's car. Rust, interior damage and so on. So, it is my personal mission to take my baby and make her into a proud racing machine. For some reason my Dart has a 318... Weak sauce.... So I am building a Magnum 360 up from a Stanton Racing block that I hope to buy very soon. I also desperately need to swap out the wires. They're old and some idiot got to them before I did anyways.... So I'm gonna go with a painless wiring harness. Anybody got any experience with that? Gonna step up my carb to a 780 cfm as opposed to the 750cfm it has now (which has stepped down jets).
I will say that it is at times hard to be a proud dart owner. It seems like there are in some respects a lot of advantages to being a chev or ford owner. Except the pride of winning... HAHA!!! For instance, to my knowledge there are no racing shell for darts. Lame.
Anyways, thats me and my car. I'd love to hear from people and I look forward to networking with more mopar maniacs!!

Welcome aboard, I too have a 76 Dart Sport, I bought it new and it had a /6 but now a 360. You are at the right place to have people teach you what to do and what not to do as somebody among us has already been there, again welcome aboard.
