I know it's not Mopar related, but worth sharing. I can't remember who posted this story a couple months back about the dog's name but it stuck with me. (If it's your story, PLEASE jump in and grab the credit.)

Apparently the pup was the shop dog and had lots of customers to play with every day. They named him Askem.

Customers would come in, ask what the dog's name was, and the owners would tell them "Askem." I can just imagine the people trying to entice the dog to tell them his name ("What's your name boy???"), or try to guess it from the dog's reply. "Is your name woof?" Too funny!!!!!!!

Congrats on the new pup Jim and Tammy! Regardless of what you call him, he's gonna have a great home, lots of love, and his choice of hot rod tires to water. What more could a dog ask for???

awesome ramcharger!!!
The girl and I thought it was hilarious. :jocolor: My ex didn't really think much of it though......:butthead::-D

Most certainly some stratfordshire terrier in that boy. Man, look at those paws!!! I'll say stratfordshire and beagle.

Here's a pic of sister's/bro-inlaws stratfordshires:

My cousin has a large dog named Dodge (that I'm babysitting right now, ironically...), and he definately responds to the name well. Sometimes, I think the names people choose for their animals are too close to other words, so the animal never really understands when its actually being called.

Lol. Lots of great names and stories!

I like Mopar, Sparkplug, Duster and Dozer. Srtoker is cool, but there is no way in hell I'm yelling it out in a park!! :-D

Meatwad and Askem cracked me up!!

this is my dog mom is american bull dog and father is bull mastiff. He is a gentle giant . I call him king cause he thinks he is king ****....lol

Rotor (instead of rover), lugnut, torque, ram, torqueflight, charger, buckethead, ozzie, 4speed, slapstick, sausage, bacon, burgermiester, burger, butthead, chopper, sawzall, ratchet, socket, sledge, axe, buzzsaw. :)

Freakin' mutt took a dump in my van (Ford Aerostar from then on known as TURD Aerostar).

Must be the Fords! First dog my ex and I had (back in the early 70s) was an Irish Setter. Every time we took him with us in the back of our Ford pickup, he'd take a dump. Every time. I finally resorted to taking him for a short ride, come back home, clean the truck bed, put him back in and off we'd go. He'd do it again! I never new where it all came from.
By the way, how 'bout "Wingnut"? Call him "Winger" for short.

Congrats on the new pup Tammy13. I think he's found a great home and I like the name Duster 8)

Is he a rescue 'cause those are the best....:happy8:

Thor, Aiden, Vlad The Impaler, Zuess, Mars, Steel, Pantera, Ralph, Fred, Bob, Frankfurter, Harley, Buck, Ka-Bar, Garand, Buckshot, Bowie. :)

I still like Duster the best.

Some really great names mentioned here!

How about "Small Block"? (A little irony due to his potential size)

But wait, isn't that name already taken? :toothy10:
