Hughes also has a complete 318-390 kit using kb pistons of either flat or dished depending on desired comp but after talking to Bobby at BJR I am leaning towards his 349 build same power& torque{ or more } less side wall pressure and more likely engine durability and you can do it with your 318 heads ,no matter which way you decide to go call him { or pm him here }and ask him about it he really is the man when it comes to the 318 also read the tech archive here by him labeled 349 On The Cheap
