I'm going backwards on my dart!
We where getting ready to start on the transplant of the front clip Ross gave me and we ran into a whole new can of worms.
The frame rail on the drivers side we could see what looked like bondo in an area that the paint had got rubbed off of.
Some dip wad some where down the road had don a half a## job of repairing a rotted out frame rail. It's rotted all the way back under the floor boards.
They put two pieces of angle iron on either side of the rot spot welded it to the frame then bondoed over the hole thing to hide their crappy job of trying to fix it.
At this point I'm lost and don't really know what to do, it looks to me like the entire frame rail need to come out and a different one put back in.
As if that wasn't enough I bought a mig welder from a guy on craigs list and tried to use it today and it won't work. He is a very old guy and said he's sorry but he don't have the money to give back to me. Not a good day guys!
