Cash for clunkers, what a waste.

I really hate to admit it (or do It) but I am more than likely going to do the cash for clunkers thing on my super pick up. (I call it The Big Red Fuel Funnel) If I can get $4500 plus the dealer matching it for my 94 V-10 Ram 2500, I just might do it. The fuel milege is just killing me. About 11 mpg on the highway & the city ahw hell no! It has A 4.10 gear. I have to drive out of state for my job so I lose money with the truck. I need a new one anyways that gets desent milege. I havent exactly tried to sell it to any one, mainly because of the bad fuel milege it gets. I got alot of good miles out of it when fuel was cheap & anyway I got a smoking deal on it when I bought it in 2000. I paid only $3500.00 for it w/ a complete running spare V/10 engine whitch is just setting in my barn still. I guess the reason I got it so cheap is because of the fuel milege. It has 251,000 miles on it now and I've never had any kind of problem with it. I'd hate to see somebody lock the engine up in it though. I love the truck, But I got to do somthing.
NO!!!!!!
That is a cool truck and it looks very nice.
Think about it, in another ten years, when we are nostalgic for that era trucks, how cool would it be to find that one? It would be awesome.
I know, it's not worth anywhere near the $9k the government is making us buy it from you for, but still... Come on, look at that thing.
