Found 1964 Barracuda

I spotted this a 1964 Plymouth Barracuda sitting in the weeds growing up around it, back in july 2009 on a tip someone gave me. I stopped and asked about it and to my amazement it was for sale. On august 4th 2009 we loaded the Barracuda up on my trailer and drove it home to be saved and restore. The old man who sold to me was in his 70's, he was glad to let someone have it that was going to restore it only and not part it out. I talked him down for a mere $400 for the 64 Barracuda. The car is unmolested and he says it does run, but smokes. Guess we will find out in the near future. It has the 273 V-8, push button automatic. He told i guess i will take $400 for it but under one condition, rut roh here it comes... You have to take that complete front end for the barracuda. I need them, the hood and fenders off the back of my old pickup lol. He told he use to just drive it around the backyard and let his grandkids use it as a playhouse. The Barracuda has been sitting for around 7 years. So here's ya some pics...

How it was sitting when I found it in Alabama on July 26, 2009

Pulled out of the weeds and getting it ready to load up on August 4 2009

Brought the 1964 Barracuda safe and sound to Georgia, with the extra hood and fenders, pulled by old 1991 Dodge 250 Club Cab, August 4th 2009 late in the afternoon. Now quietly sleeping comfortably, dreaming and waiting to make its comeback.

Next proud generation of MOPAR owners

Will keep yall updated as the rebuild comes along
